Will be going through Petersburg on Friday, 5/18/18 or Saturday, 5/19/18. Are tours of the church available on those days? Would we drive to the church itself, or is there a visitors center or somewhere else we would go? My mother uses a walker to get around. Is the church reasonably accessable? How long should we allow for the church tour?

There is visitor center walking distance from the church and cemetery. The church is accessible for your mom and there are pews inside if she needs to sit down. I am not sure of the schedule of tours though. Church tour is about an hour and well worth the time as it is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy and wish you mother a Happy Mother's Day from Long Island New York!
