Coming to the area for labor day weekend. does holtwood dam have a scenic drive up to see the countryside. not fond of hiking too much. will have a 2 year old and 6 year old. enough for them to do for 2-3 hours?

There are plenty of places for drives in the local area. Check out Indian Steps Museum in the York side and Pequea area on the Lancaster side of the river. If you are willing to drive a bit further, John Wright Restaurant and Moon Dancer Winery are within 30 min drive and very scene to get to both. Safe travels
I was not really looking at the camping aspect but I think if you google camping there you will find a few places. All the best. I think you will enjoy the area if you are campers.
