I love walking along the shore, letting the waves lap around my ankles. I also love the hiking trails, the small waterfall, and the two caves. Just stay alert for the rising tide. Full review by Kathy D

Hi, I’m hoping to visit Hug Point in October and am wondering if anyone knows how low the tide needs to be to see everything? For the day we’re planning to go, it looks like the lowest tide is 3.6 ft during the day and I’m wondering if that’s low enough to access the caves. Thanks for your help!

I would say it depends on the limited mobility. The road down to the beach is paved and a little steep. There are a few wooden steps to go down. Once you are down at the beach you can walk to the rocks and peak in a few of the tide pools.
