Hi there. Can anybody tell me how to reach Mehrangarh fort from Jaswant Thada? means is it at a walking distance or some local auto/ rickshaw/taxi must be hired?

It's about a km uphill, hire the autos there they charge Rs. 50. After 10 am several autos are there in the stand, before that there may not be even a single one.
do you need a guide here? if yes what are the charges

the guide hardly costs INR 100 and provide great information can be done without it but i would advise taking a guide. our guide was quite informative and helpful
