We have a 6mnth baby boy and would like to do a trip to MacRitchie but I am not keen on taking a taxi without a carseat. Can you store carseats at the visitor centre? Or is there another way to deal with the journey to MR and being able to do around the lake with a baby carrier.

Nope no lockers as such to keep the baby seats- it’s a pleasant weather then good else might be difficult with ur baby - no shades inside the park
Hi, James Tan, I read and am keen to hike the same route as yours from Mushroom cafe to Bukit Timah Summit. However, based on the trail, could you advise in more detail, from the Ammo Camp after the BKE, how do I reach the Pipeline Trail? I intend to to take pictures of the view from the Pipeline. Hi, I walked this route a few times. After exiting Rifle Range link, continues on Rifle Range Road passing the Rifle Range Flyover and Rifle Range Camp I. After this look out for the path on your left for entrance to the pipeline trail. At pipeline trail, turn to your right, there is a quite hidden entrance to the Bukit Timah nature reserve. In fact, this path to the summit is the easiest among the numerous walking. The "hidden" entrance is on your left and is not too far away when you reach the pipeline trail. If you look out properly, you will notice the entrance. Hope this helps. I have written some reviews on this area under kim025singapore. Have an enjoyable trek. Regards, Kim
