Hello. It is not guided and you just move from area to area at your own pace. As I said, we were lucky to have one of the volunteers approach us and he was excellent at answering our questions. That said, all the exhibits have plenty of information on or nearby them. We did enjoy it immensely. Give yourself plenty of time as this is spread over quite a big area. Take a picnic or eat in the NAAFI type building. Remember, it will be hot in the hangers during the current weather but there is plenty to see outside too.
How far from York city center is it as we don’t drive so would need a wheelchair taxi as my husband is in a wheelchair thankyou
