Really cool castle with multiple levels and rooms to explore. Was not overly crowded and you could walk all over the grounds checking things out.Full review by thewanderingmeatball

Well worth a visit - circa 60-90 mins. Interesting history, own car park, toilets, ticket office and gift shop. Located close to a pretty village with pub/tea-rooms and church. Good for families.Full review by Jan T

It is well kept for a ruin, but don’t plan any more than say 30 mins for a visit. Happy to pay the £6 as it goes towards it’s preservation. Free car park with some basic, but clean toilets at the bac…Full review by Li S
