Hello, I am considering Rock Point for camping a few nights the last week of August.. in just over a week. I'm reading a lot of bad reviews though! Is it really as wet and miserable as people are saying this year? (2019) How does one know ahead of getting there that they've chosen a dry site?

Hi Maija, I am not sure why some sites are wet. The ones we were on were dry and we had no problem. Keep an eye on the forecast. We had lots of sun. I recommend this Park and think you should go ahead with your reservation. Just remember that the beach isn't a sandy beach. It is covered with pebbles. I advice bringing foot wear that you can wear in the water. I hope it works out for you. Andrew
