I think Santa Monica Pier is a must-visit place for anyone exploring Los Angeles. You can feel the essence of Southern California. While it can get crowded the energy and the view is amazing.Full review by Stacie S

I am disabled, so I can say for certain, while there’s ample parking, and there are a few handicapped spaces marked out, none of them are free: everyone has to pay to get into the lots.

Absolutely not. It's not recommended. Currently there are bird and homeless issues underneath the Pier. During low tide, you can walk underneath the Pier, but I would walk briskly!
