Lovely markets with lots of stalls selling a different range of goods, all reasonably priced. Great for buying Christmas presents. A couple of food stalls too, if you’re feeling a bit peckish!!Full review by patty678

The market was not as exspensive as. I thought it would be but very nice all the same.Bakewells a lovely town just inside the high peak. Parking was ample just before the town centre £3 for 2 hours. …Full review by raos1234

Oh Yes, very easily negotiable. Bakewell is well prepared for all visitors, market stall holders are all friendly, helpful and eager to please. The stalls are at a good height and have easy …

Oh Yes, very easily negotiable. Bakewell is well prepared for all visitors, market stall holders are all friendly, helpful and eager to please. The stalls are at a good height and have easy viewing. Do make sure you visit both sites, as they vary quite a bit from each other. One is more foody, the other clothes and household goods. Many of the shops are well prepared for mobility issues. Some of these are found within a central hub of the town, very small, but some pretty shops could be easily missed inside this part. Check google satellite before going? The fish and chip shop has an outlet at ground level. They will provide a good lunch if the pubs are busy. There is also a very pretty walk along the riverside, which can be either very warm or very cold depending on the day. Do enjoy your visit. It is a lovely place, well run and well geared up for visitors.
