Carytown is a village in Jasper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 287 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. A post office called Carytown was established in 1885, and remained in operation until 1901. The community has the name of the Cary family, original owners of the site.
