VERY DISAPPOINTED! Dunnottar Castle closed without warning today. No notice at the top of the three hundred steps you need to walk down to reach the entrance, no reason given, had to ask about refund…Full review by Ann G

Just trekking from stonehaven along seafront and Dunnottar cliffs till castle. i dont entry but early morning(before open) that allow to use drone so that i took some drone pic that was incredibleFull review by iamface

Had been snowing over night the actual castle was closed due to the ice but still you could take plenty of photos was striking with the contrasting views of the ocean and the snow.Full review by 587markd

Yes, we took our dog in. Must be on a lead at all times though.

I didn’t spot one I’m afraid. My visit was during covid restrictions. There are gift shops in nearby Stonehaven though, I’m sure they’ll have castle related gifts.
