A steep hill to get there, more challenging because of the snow on the path. Please wear good footwear and no sneakers as some of the people we have seen. But the view is definitely worth it!!!Full review by deniseandarjan

Beautiful vista classic view of lake and hotel. Moderate climb up, may take a while. Downhill on the way back. Some of path is uneven. Definable worth the effort.Full review by travelrads

Always have a jacket or rain gear handy. June is unpredictable. It tends to be rainy season, and at high altitudes (like if you are planning to hike to any mountain summits) you will need a fleece or a hoodie at the top. I would not recommend jeans or anything cotton as if you do get wet, it won't dry and you will get cold. I would keep a pair of mittens and a hat in your backpack. Snow can linger into June depending on which hikes you decide to do. Ultimately, layers are your best option. I could probably give you a better idea if I knew which trails you were planning to hike.
