Ambiance is a family business run by two sisters, Connie and Mel and they commenced trading at 509 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, in August 1997. Since then, the business has gradually evolved into the extensive store that it is today. We always felt that Melbourne was in need of a Gift Shop that was different from all others – full of the ‘unique’ and the ‘unusual’. We also realised there was a lack of Christmas decorations that were truly ‘rare’ and could become family heirlooms. Ambiance now has one of the largest ranges of Christmas ornaments and decorations from all over the world.
