Dolphins belong in the sea. These are not rescued, these are taken and forced to 'play' with humans for food. This is not a rehabilitation centre.Full review by Stay57625914497

Yes I really don’t like the fact these dolphins are contained the way they are. The Dorsal fins are bent over which is a sign of distress and depression, dolphins get this from not having enough space to swim and when they are fed on a diet of thawed frozen fish. It pretty much just means they are unhealthy. The dolphin is the most intelligent ocean animal in the world and to spend a life in a small area going around in circles would drive anyone crazy. The tanks are too shallow as well. Oh this really makes my heart sink. It’s just to bring more people to The intercontinental as it gives them an edge over other hotel chains. The “education” and “money” raised is not enough to warrant keeping animals like this in captivity for the joy of Travellers. In this day and age it’s simply not exceptable. Has anyone seen the cove? I mean come on! Sea world and all those places get their dolphins in the worst possible way. I would prefer to die free than spend a life in captivity like that. You would literally lose your mind. Intercontinental was a great hotel with great staff. It doesn’t need this to bring in tourists. The turtle rehab station isn’t a big thumbs up, helping injured wild turtles. It’s great but they completely lost me with the dolphins
Q:
Hi, how long would I need to be able to hold my breath for the Reva experience?
A:
I cannot answer that question. Our daughter was too young for that experience. However, I would recommend giving them a call. They are very friendly and speak both French and English.
