Tatar is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczerców, within Bełchatów County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres south-east of Szczerców, 18 km south-west of Bełchatów, and 60 km south of the regional capital Łódź.
