During a heated moment between the Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings, the teams’ goalies nearly dropped the gloves.

When Los Angeles goalie Darcy Kuemper came out to center ice ready to fight his Boston Bruins counterpart Jeremy Swayman on Sunday night, Kings coach Jim Hiller was only thinking about all the bad things that could have happened.

Jeremy Swayman said he didn’t like Kings goalie Darcy Kuemper grabbing Marat Khusnutdinov and ripping the Bruins ' forward’s helmet off. So the Bruins goalie went to center ice to challenge his counterpart to fight and was ready to go when Kuemper skated out to engage. But the officials stepped between them.
