The national average price for regular gas decreased slightly on Friday to $3.162 per gallon, according to AAA. It was a marginal drop from a week ago when a gallon of regular gas cost $3.165. Friday’s decrease marks a whirlwind month for gas prices since President Donald Trump began his term on Jan.

Experts with AAA said gas prices could be on the rise in the near future. According to AAA, the average price of gas in western Pennsylvania this week is about $3.54 –That’s about 12 cents less than this time last year.

Gas prices in Phoenix have sky-rocketed within the past month. They're up nearly 50 cents a gallon, according to AAA.
