Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant sprained his left ankle driving to the basket on Jabari Smith Jr. in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Rockets at PHX Arena. Durant went to a crossover move to get into the paint, but badly twisted his ankle steppin on Smith Jr.s’ foot on the play.

Kevin Durant left the Phoenix Suns’ matchup with the Houston Rockets early on Sunday night after rolling his ankle hard in the second half. The injury came just a quarter after the Suns star got into it briefly with Rockets forward Dillon Brooks — who was then ejected from the game after the scuffle.
