UNLV fired Kevin Kruger this afternoon, bringing an end to his four-year tenure as head basketball coach and, likely, the Kruger family’s decades-long relationship with UNLV basketball.

UNLV wants the Runnin' Rebels back at full throttle. To do that, they've taken a big swing in hiring their next head coach to replace Kevin Kruger. According to insider Jeff Goodman, UNLV is bringing Josh Pastner to Vegas to be the next head coach.
