Kotak Mahindra Bank’s MD & CEO, Ashok Vaswani, stated that the bank is making significant strides in addressing the RBI’s concerns over its digital infrastructure. He highlighted ongoing efforts and regular updates to the regulator.

Kotak Mahindra Bank intends to be the third-largest private lender in India in terms of consolidated net profit and return on equity, its managing director and chief executive officer Ashok Vaswani told Economic Times (ET).

Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMB) is the fourth largest private bank in India. Over the years, it has been a good all-round performer in all three key aspects – balance sheet growth, asset quality and margins.

Talking about the relationship with Uday Kotak, the bank's founder and non-executive director, Vaswani said that while he didn't know him previously, Kotak deserved credit for stepping away from something he had built.
