A suspect being pursued by police shot at officers several times and is now barricaded inside a Lake Worth home, officials said.Lake Worth Police Chief J.T. Manoushagian said during a traffic stop, the suspect fired at officers and fled.

A standoff is underway in Lake Worth after police say a man fired at officers during a traffic stop and police chase and then barricaded himself in a Fort Worth home. At one point, SKY 4 video appears to show the suspect throwing fireworks at responding officers.

The standoff ended after 9 p.m. Thursday when the man came out of the house, opened fire at officers and was shot, police said.
