Midland High won the Saginaw Valley League, starting four freshmen, including point guard Kaiya Mahabir and center Ellee Arnold. Mahabir and Arnold earned all-SVL honors. The Chemics faded at the end of the season, but they expect to return for their sophomore seasons even stronger.
