About 180,000 utility customers remain without power on Tuesday, April 1, after a weekend ice storm in Northern Michigan and deadly winds in the lower part of the state. The National Weather Service confirmed four tornadoes touched down across the state,

It is another day without electricity for much of the northern tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Utility crews are trying to restore power in a region that was hit by freezing rain last weekend.

Consumers Energy said they are making an all-out effort to restore power to thousands of homes and businesses across Michigan as they prepare for another day of severe weather.
