The rescue operation at the SLBC tunnel collapse site in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district continues as eight workers remain trapped for over 72 hours. Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao stated that the chances of survival are “very remote” due to debris blocking the tunnel.

The eight people who are feared to be trapped include four labourers, two company employees and two international employees.

Approximately 3,200 L of water are entering the tunnel every minute, mixing with debris and exacerbating the slush problem
