The NCAA Tournament is drawing to a close for men's basketball. Here are American-Statesman staff March Madness picks for the Final Four predictions.

The Final Four field is set after this weekend's Elite Eight games and it looks like March Madness is heading toward a fantastic finish. Np/1 seeds Duke, Florida, Auburn and Houston are headed to San Antonio,

Geno Auriemma will participate in his 24th Final Four as head coach of UConn, while UCLA is in its first-ever Women's Final Four. UCLA has been one of the great stories of the season behind star Lauren Betts, but this is UConn in the NCAA tournament.

Auburn basketball survived 2-seed Michigan State on Sunday, advancing to its second Final Four in six seasons. Next up for the Tigers? A familiar foe.

The transfer portal has turned the NCAA Tournament into a case of the rich getting richer. Fewer upsets and Cinderellas leave tourney lacking juice.

In the late game, No. 1 USC is as an underdog against No. 2 UConn, led by star guard Paige Bueckers. The Trojans, despite losing star JuJu Watkins to a season-ending injury earlier in the tournament, managed to survive their Sweet 16 matchup against Kansas State.
