The two-time Super Bowl champion failed to reach Canton in his first year of eligibility, as the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was announced at the NFL Honors awards show Thursday night.

The legendary New York Giants quarterback didn't make the cut for the Class of 2025 in his first year of eligibility. Manning was one of 15 finalists who were in consideration for the honor. He didn't make the cut for the final 10 after a "vigorous discussion" about his candidacy.

Jared Allen, Sterling Sharpe, Eric Allen and Antonio Gates did make the cut and will be enshrined in Canton in August.
