Manchester City have secured the signing of midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Porto for a fee of €60 million (£49.9m/$62.1m). Gonzalez has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and is City’s fourth signing of the window following the arrivals of Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.

Nico Gonzalez’s acquisition by Man City takes their total spend on new players to $223m during the transfer window.
