BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2025 is set to take place in Liverpool in May, with an incredible line-up of music stars set to descend on the city over the course of the weekend. Sam Fender will be headlining Radio 1's Big Weekend this year, it has been announced. Joining him across the three-day event in Liverpool will be Myles Smith, Wet Leg, Blossoms and Lola Young. The festival will take place at Sefton Park from Friday 23 May - Sunday 25 May.

BBC Radio 1 has revealed the first artists confirmed for its Big Weekend 2025 line-up. BRITs Rising Star winner Myles Smith, reigning UK Number 1 star Lola Young, Blossoms, Wet Leg and headliner Sam Fender will play Liverpool's Sefton Park from Friday May 23 to Sunday May 25 2025, with more artists still to be announced.

This morning, BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James announced that this year's Big Weekend would be held in Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles, on the weekend of Friday 23rd May to Sunday 25th May 2025.
