A Superior Court judge has dismissed all litigation stemming from San Diego’s efforts to secure back rent that went unpaid by SeaWorld during the pandemic.

SeaWorld San Diego’s Rescue Team celebrated a heartwarming milestone, returning two rehabilitated sea lions to the ocean at Camp Pendleton’s training beach. This marks the county’s first sea lion release of 2025.

Two female sea lions, an adult and a pup, both rescued and rehabilitated by SeaWorld’s Rescue Team in December 2024, found their way back into the ocean. Camp Pendleton’s training beaches, which are off-limits to the public, offer an ideal undisturbed setting for the sea lions to safely return to their natural habitat.
