Our First Alert Weather team has posted a First Alert Weather Day for Thursday as the next snowstorm is set to bring heavy snow to southern Colorado.

The most favored areas for snow are over the southern foothills, Palmer Divide and central plains. However, heavier snow could occur north towards Denver.

Pack an umbrella if you have any plans Friday evening, some much-needed rain is forecast to fall throughout the day. Rain is expected to move into the area as early as 3 a.m. Friday, however, it’s “much more likely” that residents will see rain closer to 7-8 a.
