Toyota is recalling Corolla Cross Hybrid SUVs to update the braking software. Drivers may notice a hard pedal or increased braking distance when braking in a corner.

The hybrid version of the Corolla Cross has been hit with a safety recall. An estimated 42,199 vehicles have been produced for the US market with a specific brake actuator assembly supplied by Bosch, with said assembly containing iffy software for the skid control electronic control unit.
