Not many players will have as good a day that Frank Vatrano had on Sunday. Vatrano agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2027-28 season with Anaheim and then had two goals and an assist in the Ducks 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Vatrano enjoyed a breakout season last year, hitting the 30-goal mark for the first time while leading the Ducks in multiple categories while earning his first All-Star honor.

Vatrano signed a three-year contract with Anaheim on July 13, 2022, after helping the New York Rangers reach the Eastern Conference Final. He has 294 points (171 goals, 123 assists) in 602 regular-season games for the Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers, Rangers and Ducks, and 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 34 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
