AC Milan are closing in on a loan deal for Chelsea forward João Félix, a source has told ESPN. The 25-year-old is expected to move to Italy in an agreement which would see Milan pay a loan fee in the region of €2m-€3m ($2m-$3m). The Serie A club would also be paying all of his wages.

That has now been confirmed by Milan, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano alleging that the Serie A outfit will be paying a loan fee in the region of £5m. Although Milan are also expected to be paying the majority or all of Felix's wages, it is unclear whether a purchase option has been included.
