Costco announced a recall of Kirkland Severe Cold & Flu Capsules due to the potential of foreign material contamination.

For the second time in less than a month, Costco has recalled their widely popular Kirkland Signature Cold & Flu medicine. According toCostco.com, the affected Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu medicine comes from select locations in the Midwest and Southeast.

Costco, in an advisory, said some Kirkland Signature brand's "Severe Cold and Flu Plus Congestion" medication was being recalled "out of caution."

Costco recalled Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion due to foreign matter contamination after a rejected lot was accidentally released.

Costco and manufacturer LNK International, Inc. are recalling some boxes of Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion caplets.

The recall comes amid a rise in viruses across the country and Illinois, including flu, COVID, RSV, Strep and Norovirus.

NEW YORK — Costco has issued a recall of some of its Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion medication over contamination concerns. LNK International Inc, the New York-based manufacturer behind the medication, issued a recall advisory on Jan. 2 "out of an abundance of caution." The recall comes amid an active cold and flu season.
