This week I built a DIY mobile kitchen island with an epoxy resin “river’ table top ... and the top is walnut live edge slab cut offs I got from Vintage Reclaimed Lumber in OKC.

A coffee table is a valuable part ... you could look for a more rustic or reclaimed look, perhaps with a live edge. Once you have the wood slab, glue it to the top of the assembled tiles.
