Luka Doncic entered the court with the Los Angeles Lakers for his first game back in Dallas to cheers in an arena where draped over every seat was a T-shirt with “Hvala za vse" across the front.

On Wednesday Luka Doncic will make his return to Dallas with the LA Lakers for the first time since the stunning Feb. 1 trade that sent the superstar west. It will be the second time Doncic has squared off against his former team since the trade, but it will be his first time coming back to American Airlines Center.

Luka Doncic knows there will be a lot of emotions when he steps on the court in Dallas for the first time wearing his No. 77 jersey for the Los Angeles Lakers. For him and those Mavericks fans who cheered him while he wore that number in Mavericks blue the first 5 1/2 seasons of his career.
