Birmingham police are investigating a double homicide that happened early ... West Precinct officers received a Shot Spotter alert just after 6 a.m. in the 3400 block of Boise Avenue.

The men were found shot around 6:30 p.m. Thursday at an abandoned house in the 4400 block of 41st Pl. North after residents in the area called 911, according to the Birmingham Police Department.
