PORT SALERNO, Fla. — Lightning ignited a boat fire on the Treasure Coast Tuesday night following a series of strong storms.

A lightning strike set a boat on fire Tuesday in Port Salerno, fire officials said. The 35-foot boat sustained significant damage. No injuries were reported, but the boat is likely a total loss.
