A handful of wealthy business executives and investors from the Philadelphia region, led by residential landlord Mitchell Morgan, made Forbes’ annual list of the world’s billionaires for the first time this year.
T he world’s billionaire club has never been more crowded, reaching a record 3,028 members in 2025. Still, as in 2024, about a quarter of the list saw their net worth shrink compared to the previous year. For 107 entrepreneurs, investors and heirs on last year’s list, the drop was steep enough to knock them out of the three-comma club altogether.
In the top 25 of Forbes' richest are familiar names including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
