A new Minecraft mob is on the way, it's the cutest thing we've ever seen and we can't wait to meet it, so here's what we know so far.

Mojang Studios announced a brand-new mob coming to Minecraft during the second game drop of 2025, the Happy Ghast, which will bring flying mounts to the game for the first time.

Another excellent use for some players is going to be the ability to use happy ghasts as part of any parkour course builds. Not only can they be leashed to keep them from wandering away, but they can also be mounted on minecarts, making them moving platforms you can configure to basically be large stepping stones.
