You need to know some basic HTML to edit your blog posts, although WordPress and Blogger include a few HTML buttons to assist you with coding. Most HTML codes require a beginning and closing tag.

Visit your blog in a Web browser and click on "New Post" in the upper-right corner. Click on the "Edit HTML" tab and insert the Google Reader Player code you customized.
