HTML tables are comprised of rows and cells. In traditional HTML coding you remove the spacing within a cell by setting the "cellspacing" attribute to zero.

By eyeballing, it can be difficult to try to guess whether all of the cells are the same width once you've manipulated them. Instead, use Word's table sizer guide to make all cells of equal width.
