Aston Martin's Valkyrie Hypercar is set to make its motorsport debut at the Qatar 1812KM on February 28. This will be the first time the V12-powered-road-going hypercar will compete in top-level endurance racing.

Aston Martin is coming back to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year and hoping to win the event outright for the first time in more than 65 years. To achieve that lofty goal, it will race a V-12-powered hypercar based on its Valkyrie.

Aston Martin first started developing an endurance racing version of the Valkyrie long before the road car reached production. However, it scrapped the project in early 2020. Its
