A pedestrian died after falling under and being struck by a Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus in downtown Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The family of a man who died after falling under an MTA bus and getting hit by it is speaking out. Baltimore City police said the incident happened on Tuesday around 2:40 p.m. in the 100 block of West Fayette Street in Downtown Baltimore. Ekon Okudo, 36, of Baltimore, was taken to the hospital where he later died.
