Mario Kart World on Switch 2 is set to remove a controversial Mario Kart 8 feature when it releases alongside the console this June.
Well, we've now had the opportunity to put together some footage - showing the newest entry in the Mario Kart series alongside the existing Switch entry (and juggernaut) Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Mario Kart World has all sorts of extra attention to detail and generally just looks a lot crisper on the new and more powerful Switch system.
Mario Kart World might have the most extensive character roster of any Mario Kart game, but some of these deep cuts, like Fish Bone, are truly unexpected.
The new Mario Kart World video also suggests the game will have at least 28 tracks spread across seven Cups, along with 24 vehicles. Interestingly, it looks like Mario Kart World has fully formed vehicles; players seemingly no longer select individual parts to assemble a car.
Hands-on impressions of Mario Kart World on the Switch 2, a reinvention of the series that should help sell millions of the new console.
