It's been almost three months since the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, and people are still baffled by how such a deal could happen. Bleacher Report writer Greg Swartz named the deal the "worst" in NBA history.

Luka Doncic sat down with Malika Andrews on ESPN’s “NBA Today” to discuss his trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers and how it affected him. The interview began with his manager showing Andrews a cracked phone, which he still uses, that Doncic had broken by throwing it after finding out that the Mavs had traded him.

Losing to the Grizzlies also ended the season for Dallas in a painfully poetic way connected to Doncic. As shared by Grant Afseth of Dallas Hoops Journal, the Mavericks lost exactly 77 days after trading away their former superstar who wore the jersey number 77.
