In a major deal, Comcast and the International Olympic Committee have inked a $3 billion deal that will keep NBCUniversal and Peacock as the TV and streaming home of the Olympic Games through 2036. The deal also includes other elements, with Comcast providing technical, video and advertising support to the IOC an the Olympic games.
The Olympics will stay on NBC for at least another decade
NBC will continue airing the Olympics for the foreseeable future. Its parent company, Comcast, just announced a deal with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) that will keep the games on NBC’s platforms, including Peacock, through 2036.
