Nearly one week after he was shot in the line of duty, Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Zac Andry is still in critical condition.

WFTV is monitoring an incident involving the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Pine Hills and Colonial.

Orange County deputies shot a 24-year-old man in the foot Wednesday afternoon at the scene where they were trying to arrest a teen suspect in two drive-bys when he pulled out a gun, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The officers, all of whom are members of LMPD's Criminal Interdiction Unit, are Detectives Benjamin Derby, Jan Dykes, Robert Ross and Joshua Trumbo. According to the officers' disciplinary histories released by LMPD, Ross and Trumbo have each faced short suspensions for their conduct during separate incidents in 2018.
