Looks as if Tippecanoe County won't dodge Friday's snowstorm as it did last week, but the snow accumulation is not forecast to be menacing.

Officials state it is due to the continued impact of the winter storm along with the current winter storm warning in effect for the area.

A small area of light snow will not accumulate much more than ½” or so today, but it will offer at least some hope for snow lovers.

The winter weather advisory takes effect at 6 a.m. Thursday. Forecasters say 2-4 inches of snow could fall, with some sleet mixed in at the outset of the storm.
